About

Outreach, Extension and Community Service

The Community Engagement and Service Learning Center (CESLC), formerly the University Outreach Center (UOC), is the official extension arm of Central Philippine University. Established in 1998, it coordinates community outreach, service-learning, and extension programs across all colleges and units.

Operating under the Office of the Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension, CESLC bridges the university's Instruction, Research, and Extension mandate by facilitating integrated, community-driven engagements responsive to local social, cultural, economic, and developmental needs.

For School Year 2022–2027, CESLC operates under the theme "Progressive, Secure and Healthy Communities", pursuing programs in local governance, health, livelihood, education, environment, and service-learning.
