Research & Development in Native Poultry

The Philippine Native Chicken Center is a research facility that endeavors to keep pace with the ever-evolving developments in the poultry industry to surmount the challenges that arise over time successfully. As a dynamic center, it adopts a proactive approach to address the changing needs of the industry and ensure optimal growth and development.

The Center is committed to conducting cutting-edge research and developing innovative strategies to enhance the quality of native chicken breeds and improve their overall productivity. Established in 2016 under College of Agriculture, Resources, and Environmental Sciences (CARES), and funded through DA, DA-BAR, DA-PRDP, DOST, CHED, CPU, and Private Investors, it has emerged as a trusted entity in the Philippine poultry sector.
